Become a Security Officer and join one of the fastest growing industries in California. Tin Star Security Training Academy offers the required 1-day class to become a California certified Security Guard.
To become a Security Guard you must be 18 years of age and be able to pass a background check. After completing an 8-hour class you will be eligible to receive your Guard Card. Here is the total cost to obtain your CA Guard Card:

Once you have a California Guard Card you are eligible to work for any security company in the State of California.
The next guard card class is scheduled for
November 18, 2011. If you would like to attend this class please call with a credit card to reserve your seat: 916-368-6800. The only charge at that time will be $70 for the class. The background check and state application fee will be paid separately. If you do not have a Visa or MasterCard you can visit our office prior to the next scheduled class to pay with cash.
